Shipping Policy – The Victorian Garden

At The Victorian Garden, we’re committed to delivering your orders promptly and safely. Below is everything you need to know about our shipping process.


1. Shipping Destinations & Exclusions

National (South Africa):
We deliver to all locations serviced by The Courier Guy—including door-to-door, kiosks, lockers, and direct services. Available across all major cities and regional areas thecourierguy.co.za+1.

International:
We ship internationally via TUNL, with global coverage through FedEx and UPS. However, we cannot ship to:

  • PO Boxes

  • Namibia (currently paused)

  • Any countries restricted by FedEx or UPS due to regulatory limitations or service outages TUNL Helpdesktunl.to.
    Please consult FedEx’s list of unsupported destinations or contact us if you’re unsure.


2. Processing & Handling Time

Orders placed Monday–Friday will be processed and dispatched on the same day, provided your order is submitted before our cut-off. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.


3. Delivery Timelines – with Detailed Flow Examples

National (within South Africa):

Typical National Example Flow:

  1. Order ready for collection same day (e.g., Monday).

  2. Courier Guy collects — delivered within 2–3 business days if using economy/national service.

International (via TUNL → FedEx/UPS):

  • TUNL Economy (UPS Ground to USA): 10–14 business days from when TUNL receives the parcel at Paarden Eiland warehouse TUNL Helpdesk.

    • “Suggested description: ‘10 to 20 days with UPS Ground’” TUNL Helpdesk.

  • Express (FedEx/UPS): 4–7 business days from FedEx/UPS collection TUNL Helpdesk.

International Example Flow (USA Express):

  1. Order ready for collection Monday.

  2. Collected and transported to Cape Town TUNL warehouse same day or next morning.

  3. Handed over to FedEx/UPS — delivered within 4–7 business days.


4. Shipping Costs

  • Domestic (South Africa):

    • Free shipping on orders over R 400.

    • Under R 400:

      • Gauteng: R 100 flat rate

      • Outside Gauteng: R 140 flat rate

  • International:

    • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, reflecting duties, taxes, and shipping method.

    • We provide a duty-free price, with full transparency on final cost.


5. Tracking & Visibility

  • A tracking number is automatically issued by the courier (The Courier Guy or FedEx/UPS via TUNL) upon dispatch.

  • You may track your parcel directly via the courier’s portal or contact us if you'd like assistance CircuitTUNL Helpdesk.


6. Lost, Damaged or Returned Parcels

  • We will cover the cost and file claims with the courier service in the event of loss or damage.

  • For returns, please contact us first—this allows efficient handling and accurate processing.


7. Product Requirement Disclosures

  • Our range includes liquid-based skincare products, securely packaged to meet transport and customs standards; to date, we’ve had no shipping issues to approved destinations.


8. Holiday & Weekend Shipping Policies

  • No shipments sent on weekends or public holidays.

  • December operations are continuous, aligned with couriers’ working schedules.
